Instructions
1.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat (about 2 minutes).
2.
Add minced garlic and ginger, sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
3.
Add the sliced beef to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook for about 5-7 minutes until browned.
4.
Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
5.
In the same skillet, add broccoli florets and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp.
6.
Return the beef to the skillet, add soy sauce, and water or broth. Stir to combine.
7.
If using cornstarch, mix it with a little water to create a slurry and add it to the skillet to thicken the sauce.
8.
Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through and well combined.

1 lb lean beef (sirloin or flank steak), thinly sliced

4 cups broccoli florets
3.
2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
4.
1 tablespoon olive oil
5.
2 cloves garlic, minced
6.
1 teaspoon ginger, minced

1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
8.
1/4 cup water or low-sodium beef broth
9.
Salt and pepper to taste
