Instructions

    In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat (about 2 minutes).

    Add the broccoli and carrots, sautéing for about 5-7 minutes until they are tender but still crisp.

    Stir in the cooked chicken (or chickpeas), garlic powder, and vegetable broth. Cook for another 5 minutes until heated through.

    Add the cooked brown and wild rice, mixing well. Season with black pepper and salt to taste.

    Cook for an additional 3-5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
