Instructions

Place the eggs in a saucepan and cover them with cold water, ensuring there's about an inch of water above the eggs. (2 minutes)

Bring the water to a boil over medium-high heat. (5-7 minutes)

Once boiling, cover the saucepan, remove it from heat, and let it sit for 9-12 minutes, depending on your desired doneness. (9-12 minutes)
4.
After the time is up, transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice water to cool for at least 5 minutes. (5 minutes)
5.
Peel the eggs, season with salt and pepper, and garnish with fresh herbs before serving.
