Instructions
1.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the Kashi Go Peanut Butter Crunch cereal, rolled oats, and protein powder.
2.
In a separate bowl, mix together the peanut butter, honey (or maple syrup), applesauce, and vanilla extract until smooth.
3.
Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until well combined.
4.
Fold in the chopped nuts and dark chocolate chips if using.
5.
Line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper and press the mixture evenly into the dish.
6.
Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to set, then cut into bars.
