Instructions
1.
In a large mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, protein powder, and cinnamon. Mix well.
2.
In a separate bowl, mix almond butter, honey (or maple syrup), and applesauce until smooth.
3.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until fully combined.
4.
Fold in chopped nuts and dark chocolate chips if using.
5.
Line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper and press the mixture evenly into the dish.
6.
Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to set, then cut into bars.

1/4 cup honey or maple syrup

1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce

1/4 cup chopped nuts (almonds or walnuts)
8.
1/4 cup dark chocolate chips (optional)
