Instructions
1.
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, protein powder, ground flaxseed, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
3.
In another bowl, mix the applesauce, almond milk, honey (if using), and vanilla extract until well combined.
4.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
5.
Pour the batter into a greased or lined baking dish and spread evenly.
6.
Bake for 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
7.
Let cool before cutting into squares and enjoy your healthy protein brownies!
