Yep protein ice cream was lunch and snack today almond milk protein powder and minimal other ingredients- basically a protein shake as ice cream! This one had 31 grams of protein. So fun.

Instructions

  • 1.

    In a blender, combine the almond milk, protein powder, frozen banana, cocoa powder, chia seeds, and vanilla extract.

    Blend on high until smooth and creamy, about 1-2 minutes.

  • 3.

    If you prefer a thicker texture, add ice cubes and blend again.

  • 4.

    Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary, then pour into bowls or cups.

  • 5.

    Freeze for about 30 minutes for a firmer texture, if desired.
