Instructions

  • 1.

    In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground turkey until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Season with your favorite taco spices (cumin, chili powder, garlic powder).

    While the turkey is cooking, prepare the salad base by combining the chopped romaine lettuce, spinach, cherry tomatoes, red bell pepper, and jalapeño in a large bowl.

  • 3.

    Once the turkey is cooked, let it cool slightly before adding it to the salad bowl.

  • 4.

    Top the salad with diced avocado, shredded cheese, and a generous scoop of salsa.

  • 5.

    Drizzle with light sour cream and toss gently to combine all ingredients. Serve immediately.
