Instructions

  • 1.

    In a skillet, heat a small amount of olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and sauté for 3-4 minutes until translucent.

    Add the chopped porcini mushrooms, black pepper, and thyme. Cook for another 3-4 minutes until the mushrooms are tender.

  • 3.

    Stir in the Abbots ground beef and cook for 5-6 minutes until heated through.

  • 4.

    Warm the grain-free taco shells in the oven or microwave according to package instructions.

  • 5.

    Assemble the tacos by filling each shell with the beef mixture, topped with shredded cheese and diced avocado.

    Serve with sliced apple on the side for a refreshing crunch.
