Instructions

  • 1.

    1. Start by crumbling the pressed tofu into a bowl.

    2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the crumbled tofu.

    3. Sprinkle chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper over the tofu. Stir well to combine.

  • 4.

    4. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the tofu is golden and slightly crispy.

    5. While the tofu cooks, warm the corn tortillas in a separate pan or microwave.

  • 6.

    6. Assemble the tacos by placing a portion of the tofu mixture on each tortilla.

    7. Top with black beans, diced tomatoes, avocado slices, shredded lettuce, and cilantro.

    8. Serve with lime wedges on the side for an extra burst of flavor.
