Its okay to have days where you feel low energy just remember to listen to your body and give it the nourishment it needs

Instructions

  • 1.

    1. Start by toasting the whole grain bread slices lightly for added texture.

  • 2.

    2. Spread a thin layer of mustard or hummus on one side of each slice of bread.

  • 3.

    3. Layer the turkey or chicken deli meat evenly on four slices of bread.

  • 4.

    4. Add a slice of low-fat cheese on top of the meat.

  • 5.

    5. Place sliced avocado and a handful of spinach or mixed greens on top.

  • 6.

    6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  • 7.

    7. Top with the remaining slices of bread, cut in half, and serve immediately.
