Instructions
1.
Cook the whole wheat pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside (about 10-12 minutes).

In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Form into small meatballs (about 1 inch in diameter).

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook until browned on all sides, about 8-10 minutes. Remove and set aside.

In the same skillet, add chopped onion and zucchini. Sauté for about 5 minutes until softened.

Add the tomato sauce and cooked meatballs back into the skillet. Simmer for 10 minutes, allowing flavors to meld.
6.
Stir in spinach (if using) and cook until wilted, about 2 minutes.
7.
Combine the pasta with the sauce and meatballs, mixing well. Serve warm.
