“Spaghetti and meatballs for dinner. My husband made it for the kids and I sat with them and enjoyed it too- just kept my portion smaller. If I could make a change Id opt for zucchini noodles- those would have provided more fiber. Ill make a note to pick up some zucchini in the future.”

Instructions
1.
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake the meatballs for 20 minutes or until cooked through.

While the meatballs are baking, heat the marinara sauce in a saucepan over medium heat.

In a separate pan, sauté the zucchini noodles for 2-3 minutes until just tender.

Serve the zucchini noodles topped with marinara sauce and meatballs. Garnish with fresh basil if desired.
