Barbecue chicken broccoli and sweet potatoe tasted great!

Instructions

  • 1.

    Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  • 2.

    Wash and pierce the sweet potatoes with a fork. Place them on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes until tender.

  • 3.

    While the sweet potatoes are baking, season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.

  • 4.

    In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side until cooked through.

  • 5.

    Brush the chicken with low-sugar barbecue sauce during the last few minutes of cooking.

  • 6.

    In the last 5 minutes of cooking, steam the broccoli until bright green and tender.

  • 7.

    Serve the barbecue chicken with baked sweet potatoes and steamed broccoli.
