Instructions
1.
In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, chopped onion, grated carrots, chopped green bell pepper, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined (5 minutes).

Form the mixture into 4 equal patties (5 minutes).

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (10-15 minutes).

If using cheese, add it on top of the patties during the last minute of cooking to melt (1 minute).

Serve the turkey burgers on whole-grain buns or lettuce wraps, alongside a generous portion of mixed steamed vegetables.

1/2 cup finely chopped onion
3.
1/2 cup grated carrots
4.
1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
5.
1/2 cup shredded low-fat cheese (optional)
6.
1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp paprika
8.
Salt and pepper to taste
9.
4 whole-grain burger buns (optional)
10.
2 cups mixed steamed vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, carrots)
