Instructions
1.
Cook the whole wheat penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside (about 10 minutes).

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the frozen diced chicken and cook for about 5-7 minutes until fully cooked, stirring occasionally.

Add the mixed vegetables to the skillet and cook for an additional 5 minutes until they are tender.
4.
Stir in the cooked pasta and pesto sauce, mixing well to combine all ingredients. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.
5.
Season with salt and pepper to taste. If desired, sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
