Instructions

1. Toast the whole grain bread slices until golden brown (about 3-4 minutes).

2. While the bread is toasting, heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a little cooking spray or olive oil.

3. Crack the eggs into the skillet and cook to your preference (sunny-side up or scrambled) for about 3-5 minutes.

4. While the eggs are cooking, mash the ripe avocados in a bowl and season with salt and pepper.

5. Once the toast is ready, spread the mashed avocado evenly on each slice.

6. Top each avocado toast with a cooked egg and drizzle with hot sauce.

7. Optional: Add fresh spinach or arugula on top for extra fiber and nutrients.
