Instructions
1.
In a medium saucepan, bring water or almond milk to a boil.

Add rolled oats and reduce heat to low. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until oats are soft.
3.
While the oats are cooking, fry the egg in a non-stick skillet over medium heat until desired doneness.
4.
Once the oats are cooked, remove from heat and stir in cottage cheese until well combined.
5.
Serve the oatmeal in bowls, topped with dried blueberries, almonds, and apple slices.
6.
Enjoy the fried egg on the side for an extra protein boost.
