Instructions
1.
In a medium saucepan, combine rolled oats and milk. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally. (5 minutes)
2.
Once boiling, reduce heat to low and simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring frequently until the oats are creamy and cooked through.
3.
While the oatmeal is cooking, in a separate pan, cook the eggs to your liking (scrambled, fried, or poached). (5 minutes)
4.
Once the oatmeal is ready, stir in the blueberries, chopped almonds, ground flaxseed, cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
5.
Serve the oatmeal in bowls, topped with the cooked eggs and additional blueberries or almonds if desired.

1/2 cup almonds, chopped

9.
Sweetener of choice (optional, e.g., stevia or honey)
