Your protein maple oatmeal with PB pecans and a drizzle of MS sounds absolutely delightful! The protein in the oatmeal and PB will help keep you feeling full until your next meal. And the pecans add a nice touch of healthy fats. Good job Monica and remember to drink plenty of water throughout the day to stay hydrated and help with digestion!

Instructions

  • 1.

In a medium saucepan, bring the water or almond milk to a boil over medium heat (about 3-4 minutes).

  • 2.

Add the rolled oats, cinnamon, and salt. Stir well and reduce the heat to low. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the oats are soft and creamy.

  • 3.

Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and Greek yogurt until well combined.

  • 4.

Serve the oatmeal in bowls, topped with peanut butter, chopped pecans, and a drizzle of maple syrup.
