Protein oatmeal (down to chocolate protein right now) with pear almond butter and hemp seeds

Instructions

  • 1.

    In a medium saucepan, combine rolled oats and almond milk. Bring to a boil over medium heat.

  • 2.

    Once boiling, reduce heat to low and stir in the chocolate protein powder and cinnamon. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the oats are soft and creamy.

  • 3.

    Remove from heat and stir in the diced pear and almond butter until well combined.

  • 4.

    Serve in bowls and top with hemp seeds. Add sweetener if desired.

    2 cups unsweetened almond milk (or any low-calorie milk alternative)

    1 scoop chocolate protein powder

  • 4.

    1 ripe pear, diced

  • 5.

  • 6.

    2 tablespoons hemp seeds

  • 7.

    1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

  • 8.

    Sweetener of choice (optional, e.g., stevia or monk fruit)
