“Leftover chicken oatmeal blueberries almonds. 1/2 C 2% milk I ate the chicken first and then ate about 2/3 of the oatmeal. Stopped because I was full Eating chicken for breakfast still feels weird but I had lots of leftovers and it sounded good this morning!”

“Nothing wrong with eating chicken for breakfast! Great protein-rich start to the day - Im guessing it kept you full for a while!”
Instructions
1.
In a medium saucepan, combine the rolled oats and 2 cups of milk. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally. (5 minutes)
2.
Once boiling, reduce heat to low and simmer for about 5 minutes, or until the oats are cooked and creamy. Stir frequently to prevent sticking.
3.
While the oats are cooking, prepare the chicken by shredding it into bite-sized pieces.
4.
Once the oats are ready, remove from heat and stir in the shredded chicken, blueberries, and honey (if using). Mix well to combine. (2 minutes)
5.
Serve the oatmeal in bowls, topped with chopped almonds for added crunch and nutrition.
