Instructions
1.
In a medium saucepan, bring the water or almond milk to a boil.
2.
Add the rolled oats and a pinch of salt. Reduce heat to low and simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
3.
While the oats are cooking, whisk the egg whites in a separate bowl until frothy.
4.
Once the oats are cooked, stir in the egg whites and protein powder (if using) until well combined. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the egg whites are fully cooked.
5.
Add cinnamon and sweetener (if using) to taste. Mix well and remove from heat.
6.
Serve warm, topped with your favorite fruits or nuts if desired.
