Instructions

  • 1.

    In a medium saucepan, combine the rolled oats and water or almond milk. Bring to a boil over medium heat.

  • 2.

    Once boiling, reduce heat to low and stir in the flaxseed meal, protein powder, cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the oats are creamy.

  • 3.

    While the oats are cooking, heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Crack the eggs into the skillet and cook to your liking (sunny-side up, scrambled, etc.).

  • 4.

    Once the oats are cooked, remove from heat and stir in the chopped almonds and raisins.

  • 5.

    Serve the oatmeal in bowls, topped with a cooked egg on the side.

    4 eggs

  • 8.

    1 tsp cinnamon

  • 9.

    1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
