Instructions

  • 1.

    In a medium saucepan, bring the almond milk to a boil over medium heat (about 5 minutes).

  • 2.

    Add the steel cut oats and reduce the heat to low. Simmer for about 25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the oats are tender.

  • 3.

    While the oats are cooking, in a separate pan, sauté the diced apples with cinnamon over medium heat for about 5-7 minutes until soft.

  • 4.

    Once the oats are cooked, stir in the sautéed apples and collagen peptides. Mix well.

  • 5.

    Serve the oats in bowls, topped with chopped nuts and a drizzle of maple syrup if desired.
