Instructions

  • 1.

    In a medium saucepan, bring the water or low-fat milk to a boil over medium heat (about 5 minutes).

  • 2.

    Add the rolled oats and reduce the heat to low. Cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the oats are creamy.

  • 3.

    While the oats are cooking, chop the cooked turkey sausage into bite-sized pieces.

  • 4.

    Once the oats are cooked, stir in the chopped turkey sausage, blueberries, and mango. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.

  • 5.

    If desired, add cinnamon and honey or maple syrup for extra flavor. Mix well.

  • 6.

    Serve warm in bowls, and enjoy your healthy high protein oats!
