Instructions
1.
In a medium saucepan, combine the rolled oats and water or almond milk. Bring to a boil over medium heat.

Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and stir in the blueberries, chopped almonds, flaxseed meal, and protein powder (if using). Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the oats are creamy and cooked through.

While the oats are cooking, heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Crack the eggs into the skillet and cook to your desired doneness (sunny-side up or scrambled).

Once the oats are ready, stir in cinnamon and sweetener if desired. Serve the oatmeal in bowls, topped with a cooked egg.
