Instructions
1.
In a medium saucepan, combine the rolled oats and water or almond milk. Bring to a boil over medium heat.

Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and stir in the flaxseed meal, protein powder (if using), and cinnamon. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the oats are creamy.
3.
While the oats are cooking, heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Crack the eggs into the skillet and cook to your liking (sunny-side up, over-easy, etc.).
4.
Once the oats are cooked, remove from heat and stir in the chopped almonds and blueberries.
5.
Serve the oatmeal in bowls, topped with a cooked egg. Add a drizzle of sweetener if desired.

Sweetener of choice (optional, e.g., stevia or honey, but keep it minimal)
