Instructions

  • 1.

    In a medium saucepan, bring water or almond milk to a boil.

  • 2.

    Add the rolled oats and reduce heat to medium. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  • 3.

    In a separate bowl, whisk the egg whites until frothy.

  • 4.

    Once the oats are cooked, stir in the egg whites and protein powder (if using). Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the egg whites are fully cooked.

  • 5.

    Add cinnamon and chia seeds, mixing well.

  • 6.

    Serve hot, topped with fresh fruit and a drizzle of honey or maple syrup if desired.
