That sounds like a comforting and nourishing choice especially when your stomach isnt feeling its best. Taking care of yourself with gentle foods is a great way to support your body when its feeling a bit off! Keep me posted on how you are feeling

Instructions

  • 1.

In a medium saucepan, combine the rolled oats and water or almond milk. Bring to a boil over medium heat.

  • 2.

Once boiling, reduce heat to low and stir in the apple chunks, chia seeds, flaxseeds, and cinnamon. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the oats are creamy.

  • 3.

Remove from heat and stir in the protein powder (if using) and seed butter until well combined.

  • 4.

Serve warm, topped with additional apple chunks, a sprinkle of cinnamon, and a drizzle of seed butter if desired.

Ingredients

  • 1.

    2 cups rolled oats

  • 2.

4 cups water or unsweetened almond milk

  • 3.

1 cup apple chunks (fresh or cooked)

  • 4.

    2 tablespoons chia seeds

  • 5.

    2 tablespoons flaxseeds

  • 6.

    1 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 7.

4 tablespoons seed butter (like almond or sunflower seed butter)

  • 8.

1 scoop protein powder (optional, for extra protein)
