Great work Allyson! Youve hit your weekly target of six lean protein-rich breakfasts. Oatmeal with protein powder berries and an egg sounds very nutritious hope it keeps you going for the day! Keep up the great work!

Instructions

  • 1.

In a medium saucepan, bring the water or almond milk to a boil over medium heat (about 3-4 minutes).

  • 2.

Add the rolled oats and reduce the heat to low. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally until the oats are soft and creamy.

  • 3.

Stir in the protein powder until fully combined. If the mixture is too thick, add a little more water or almond milk to reach your desired consistency.

  • 4.

Remove from heat and fold in the sliced banana and blueberries.

  • 5.

Serve in bowls, topped with a tablespoon of peanut butter and a cooked egg on the side if desired.

Ingredients

  • 1.

    2 cups rolled oats

  • 2.

4 cups water or unsweetened almond milk

  • 3.

1 scoop protein powder (vanilla or unflavored)

  • 4.

    1 ripe banana, sliced

  • 5.

1 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)

  • 6.

4 tablespoons natural peanut butter (no added sugar)

  • 7.

4 large eggs (optional, for added protein)
