Instructions
1.
In a small bowl, combine warm water, yeast, and honey. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.

In a large mixing bowl, combine whole wheat flour and salt.

Add the yeast mixture to the flour and mix until a dough forms.

Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth.

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
6.
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Shape the dough into a loaf and place it in a greased loaf pan.
8.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.
9.
Let it cool before slicing. Serve with cottage cheese and apple butter.
