Instructions

  • 1.

    In a large bowl, mix the whole wheat flour, baking powder, and salt.

    In another bowl, whisk together the almond milk, egg whites, honey (if using), and vanilla extract.

    Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Fold in the shredded carrots.

    Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it with cooking spray or a small amount of oil.
