Instructions

  • 1.

    In a medium saucepan, bring water or almond milk to a boil (about 5 minutes).

  • 2.

    Add the gluten-free oats and reduce heat to low. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  • 3.

    While the oats are cooking, whisk together the eggs and egg whites in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper.

  • 4.

    In a non-stick skillet, scramble the egg mixture over medium heat until fully cooked (about 3-4 minutes).

  • 5.

    Once the oats are cooked, stir in the protein powder (if using) and cinnamon. Mix well.

  • 6.

    Serve the oatmeal topped with scrambled eggs and enjoy your healthy high protein oats!
